Spreading the awareness on the World Diabetic Day, Al Sharq Hospital organized an awareness lecture on diabetes at the Punitive and Correctional Institution – Fujairah, on Thursday 14th November 2019. Our Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Mohammad Al Meri, presented the lecture to the inmates of Punitive and Correctional Institution, where he spoke about the two types of diabetes, risk factors associated with diabetes, and the prevention methods. He also emphasized the importance of regular checkups in managing diabetes.
