Al Sharq Hospital, the subsidiary of Al Sharq Healthcare & the member of Fujairah National Group (FNG), as part of their corporate social responsibility, was the main sponsor for the 7 Emirates Run in the Emirate of Fujairah by providing all required support to the runners, this event and also instrumental in raising charity funds to this noble mission. The 7 Emirates Run team is made up of seven experienced ultra-marathon runners based in the UAE and is led by German Guinness World Record holder Wendelin Lauxen. Funds raised will be used to pay for life-changing surgery and postoperative medical support for children who suffer from deformities or amputation.

The official Flag-off Ceremony of 7 Emirates Run from the Emirate of Fujairah was organized at Al Sharq Hospital premises on 28th November at 8am with a strong public participation ready to cheer, encourage and support the 7 ER runners by joining the run for a short distance of 1.5 kms. Apart from the general public, those who participated in the run included various institutions such as Schools, employees of public and private organizations, employees of Al Sharq Healthcare and Fujairah National Group amongst others.
